The wedding is over and I finally managed to squeeze out some time for myself to update the pictures of the 'handmayde' wedding items you've all been waiting for...
For starters, in a practice that is completely unique to Singaporeans - the 'handmayde' ang pow box...

With a slit large enough to fit most wedding cards as well. I get mildly peeved by ang pow boxes that don't fit even a DL sized card (for the uninitiated, that's about 10cm width) - money doesn't always have to come in the impersonal "quick-fix" little red packet.
For a one-off-use item like an ang pow box, I used material that was already lying around in the house. The flowers were the same ones my husband used to decorate the proposal venue. :)
This ang pow box is now for SALE! Or I could make you another in your favourite colour... :)
